Image Consultants Hone Skills Through Fun Shopping Trip
24 FEBRUARY, 2012, an enthusiastic group of image consultants from Singapore and Malaysia gathered for a fun-filled workshop at the Concorde Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Organised by the AICI Singapore Chapter and titled ‘Making Shopping Fun and Fabulous for Your Clients’, the much anticipated workshop cum shopping session was conducted by Singapore’s go-to expert shopper, Ms Melissa Chor.

As founder of Style Harmony, Melissa is keenly attuned to the latest fashion trends, and is often seen as a trendsetter herself. She generously shared with fellow image consultants insights and practical tips drawn from her many years of experience in delivering top-notch personal shopping experience for diverse clients.
And what better way to reinforce the learning than an actual shopping experience? The ladies got down to applying the many great tips they gleaned from the workshop.

Image consultants who attended the education event were full of positive feedback, with some wishing for an even longer session.
Ms Audrey Quek of Audrey Image Consultancy, says the tips on preparing a shopping plan and how to do pre-shopping are two valuable lessons she took away from the workshop.
Ms Ana Cheong, a participant from Malaysia and founder of Ana Consultancy says, “Case studies were one of the valuable lessons learnt as it showed me the various aspects of personal shopping.”
Armed with their new knowledge and skills, clients can look forward to an enhanced shopping experience by these style and image experts.
Kudos to Sherrine Teoh and Audrey Quek, together with their respective Education and Events Sub-Committees, for organising yet another successful educational event for the Chapter!
