“Groom and Glow” Project

A Community Service by AICI Singapore

Following the success of 2010’s “Groom and Glow” project with the Cerebral Palsy Centre in Singapore, we are excited to partner with more charities in the coming months to train and prepare their clients for interviews and employment in the open market.

The “Groom and Glow” project will kick off in April this year with the Bizlink Centre, a non-profit organisation that provides employment services for people with disabilities.

We are looking for members to volunteer in the following areas:

1.  Leader trainer cum team leader

2.  Co-trainer

3.  Assistant trainers

4.  Make-up consultants for photoshoot session

5.  Hairstylist

6.  Photographer (with professional experience)

Dates of training sessions:

26 April, 1.30pm to 3.30pm (Session for females)

26 April, 3.30pm – 5.00pm  (Photoshoot for two females & one male)

11 May, 3:00pm – 5:00pm  (Session for males)

*Member volunteers will receive a certificate of participation, which is recognised for CIP points by AICI HQ. Only Singapore chapter members in good standing are eligible.
