Registration
Registration and workshop fees are shown in Singapore Dollars. Full conference registration includes admittance to all sessions including refreshments at breaks, lunch, and dinner for Gala night.

Guestroom Rates
Contact the New World Hotel directly at (+632) 8116888. When making your reservation, be sure to identify the group name. There are limited number of guestrooms for AICI SAS so make sure to book your reservations early.
Room Rates
For single occupancy in a superior room: PhP5,500.
For twin sharing in a superior room: PhP6,500.
Single occupancy for a deluxe room: PhP6,500
Twin sharing for deluxe room: PhP7,500
All inclusive of daily breakfast.
Check in time is 2pm. Rooms cannot be guaranteed prior to that time.
Check out time is 12noon. Late check outs cannot be guaranteed.
The New World Hotel concierge can arrange to check baggage for those arriving early when rooms are unavailable.
Airport
The Manila International Airport has the airport code MNL. There are two terminals, NAIA Centennial Terminal and Terminal 3, serving different airlines. Be sure to keep your luggage tags upon arrival as they are inspected upon exit. Terminal fees are levied on all passengers and is paid on departure.

Transportation
For hotel airport transfer, please arrange this with your hotel directly. It is highly recommended that you pre-arrange your transportation.
Getting Around
The conference hotel is walking distance to most restaurants and shopping malls. Volunteers will be on hand to welcome you and assist you with your ground transport inquiries at the hotel.
Cancellation Policy
In the event of cancellation of registration and/or translation, you will receive a full refund of fees less a SGD 90.00 processing fee. All cancellations must be received in writing on or before September 1, 2010. Cancellations after September 1, 2010 will not be accepted. Refunds are not given for no shows.
If AICI cannot hold the 2010 Annual Conference and Exhibition due to acts of God, war, government regulations, disaster, strikes, civil disorder or curtailment of transportation facilitating other emergencies making it inadvisable, illegal or impossible to provide the facilities or to hold the meeting, each prepaid attendee will receive a copy of the conference handouts and any other materials that would have been distributed. Fixed conference expenses will be paid from the pre-registration funds. Remaining funds will be refunded to pre-registrants. AICI is not responsible for any other costs by pre-registrants in connection with the conference.
Language
English is the business language and is widely used. The national language is termed Filipino, the dialect is Tagalog.
Currency
The monetary unit is Philippine Peso. Foreign exchange are monitored in airports, hotels, major commercial establishments and all bank branches. Approximate exchange rates are at 1.00 USD = 45.00 PhP and 1.00 SGD = 33.00 PhP. Rates vary daily. Major credit cards such as MasterCard, Visa and American Express are accepted in most establishments.
Climate and Conference Attire
By September, Philippines is expected to have light rain showers but because the country is generally tropical, it is advised to bring lightweight business formal attire.
Business Hours
Most businesses are open from 8am-5pm on weekdays and 8am until noon on Saturdays. Banks are open from 9am-3pm on weekdays only. When banking, please make sure to bring your passport for identification. Lunch breaks are at 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m.
